Governing Body

Sister Nibedita Govt General Degree College for Girls is  under the Govt. of West Bengal & the Principal is the administrative head of the college.  Like all government colleges, the college  has a governing body in accordance with the government rules. The present members of the Governing Body are:

• The President of our Governing Body is  Dr. P. Ulganathan, IAS,  the District Magistrate  of South 24 Parganas.

• Dr. Dipak Kar, Principal, Asutosh College, Kolkata & Chairman, WB College Service Commission (Government nominee)

• Professor Siuli sarkar, Principal, Lady Brabourne College (CU nominee)

• Professor Chaitali Mukhopadhyay, Dept of Chemistry, Calcutta University (CU nominee)

• Mr. Ashim Roy, Executive Engineer PWD (Civil)

• Smt Sujata Bhattacharya (Teaching staff)

• Dr. Atanu Saha (Teaching staff)

• Sri. Tushar Chakroborty (Non teaching staff)

The first meeting was held on 16th March, 2017 Discussion was carried out on academic pursuits, extension of civil construction of the college building and undertaking the proposal for college affiliation with UGC (New Delhi)
