Political Science Activities
- The Department intends to motivate the students to pursue higher studies and to take part in various other activities as well by exposing them to several curricular and co-curricular activities throughout the academic sessions.
- On 6th December, 2016, the Department of Political Science, in collaboration with the departments of Bengali, English, Philosophy and Sanskrit, organized a UGC-sponsored State Level Seminar on ‘Women’s Empowerment and Higher Learning’ in the college.
- On 7th March, 2019 a Cultural Programme was organized by the Department, along with the Department of Philosophy, to commemorate International Women’s Day.
- Besides, students of the Department are enthusiastic enough in presenting posters and participating in debates and group-discussions.
