Gen Degree College for Girls, 20B Judges Court Road, Hastings House, Alipore, Kolkata 700027 for the appointment of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DHESTBT/ Govt. of West Bengal funded research project " Metagenomic analyses for soil plant continuum by exploring the rhizospheric and root endophytic microflora of Heritiera fomes and Nypa fruticans from Indian Sunderbans".

Post Graduate degree in any field of biological Sciences with specialization in Genetics or Microbiology with at least 55% marks.

Desirable:

· NET, GATE qualified

· Exposure to field work and sampling

· Basic knowledge on bioinformatics database analysis

As per DHESTBT rules

The above mentioned posts are purely temporary and renewable annually strictly on the basis of performance.

Interested candidates are requested to appear in person directly on the specified date and time of the interview with application of candidature along with two photographs, one set of Bio data, mark sheets, certificates and all necessary testimonials (in original and self-attested photocopies).
