Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is a statutory body established under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. The ICC is responsible for investigating and resolving complaints of sexual harassment in the workplace. It consists of at least three members, including a presiding officer, and is empowered to take disciplinary action against the perpetrator. The ICC must be set up by every employer with 10 or more employees and must be notified to the District Officer of the local district administration. Its primary objective is to provide a safe and respectful work environment for employees.
