IPR Cell

An Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell in a college plays a vital role in fostering innovation, creativity, and awareness among students and faculty. It acts as a support system to guide individuals through the process of identifying, protecting, and managing their intellectual property, such as patents, copyrights, trademarks, and designs.

The cell conducts workshops, seminars, and awareness programs to educate the academic community about the importance and procedures of IPR. It also assists innovators in documentation, filing, and legal processes related to IP protection. By promoting a culture of research and innovation, the IPR Cell encourages students and faculty to transform their ideas into valuable intellectual assets.

Furthermore, it helps in collaborations with industries, legal experts, and patent offices to ensure comprehensive support. Overall, the IPR Cell contributes significantly to academic excellence and the commercialization of innovations, aligning with the institution’s goals of knowledge creation and societal contribution.
