The Students’ Orientation Programme, which is scheduled to be held for the newly admitted B.A./B.Sc. (Hons.) First Semester students on 1^st October, 2021 (Friday) at 11 AM, stands deferred at the present moment due to some urgent unforeseen circumstances.

The revised schedule of organizing the above Orientation Programme will be notified to all at an earliest possible date.

However, the teachers are requested to kindly arrange to inform their respective First Semester students about commencement of their First Semester classes for the new academic session 2021-2022 on and from 1^st October, 2021 as pre-scheduled and earlier notified to students in line with Calcutta University Circular Ref. No. CUS/58(Cir.)/21 dated 20^th August, 2021 and ‘UGC Guidelines on Examinations and Academic Calendar in view of the COVID-19 Pandemic issued in July, 2021’.

The names and contact details of these new students so far admitted up to 30th September, 2021 would be mailed to the respective departments by tomorrow (30^th September, 2021) late evening.
