It is to be notified that the first-year non-minority students from our college can apply for SVMCM Scholarship (UG level) through the official website: https://svmcm.wbhed.gov.in

The Minority Students applying for Fresh Scholarship are requested to apply through https://www.wbmdfcscholarship.org/

Before applying, students must go through the eligibility criteria (for both merit and means) clearly mentioned in the official website (mentioned in ABOUT section). For convenience, students may download the USER MANUAL from the

Income certificate must be issued by the Competent Authority (BDO/SDO/Jt. BDO / BLRO (Panchayat Area), Executive Officer / Finance Officer / Education Officer in case of municipality, Commissioner / Dy. Com / Municipal secretary in case of Corporation Area, G.R-A Gazetted Officer).

Candidates opting for these scholarships and found eligible, will not be allowed to enjoy any other governmental (central/state) scholarship or stipend for the same course/stage of study.

The date of verification of the documents for SVMCM (FRESH and 2nd RENEWAL) by the college is the 25.11.2023. from 11:30 PM to 1.30 PM at Room no. T1 (3rd Floor, Deptt. of Microbiology).

FRESH APPLICANTS should bring the following documents (in original and photocopies)

• Printed copy of filled up SVMCM form

• Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination

• Marksheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination (both sides)

• Marksheet of Higher Secondary or equivalent examination (both sides)

• Income certificate issued by competent authority as mentioned in the website

• The first page of your bank passbook that clearly mentions your account number and IFSC details

• Domicile certificate as Aadhaar ID/Voter ID/Ration card/Certificate Issued by concerned authority

• Admission receipt of the current semester (SEMESTER-1)

• Documents/Declaration regarding not applying for SVMCM in previous years (Option will appear only if applicant selects Year of Qualifying Exam as 2021 and 2022 while registration)

2nd RENEWAL APPLICANTS should bring the following documents (in original and photocopies)

• Printed copy of filled up SVMCM form

• Marksheets of Semesters 3 and 4 (both sides)

• Admission receipt of the current semester (SEMESTER 5)
