Our college is proud to host 13 well-established science departments, each contributing to a rich academic environment through advanced teaching and hands-on experimentation. The departments include Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Microbiology, Physiology, Statistics, Computer Science, Geography, Geology, Zoology, Economics, Food and Nutrition, and Mathematics. Each department is equipped with its own dedicated laboratories that support practical learning and research activities, ensuring students gain in-depth, experiential knowledge in their respective fields.
The Botany and Zoology departments have specimen-rich labs for biological studies, while Chemistry and Physics offer well-equipped labs for experimental and theoretical exploration. The Microbiology and Physiology labs support advanced biological and health-related research. The Computer Science lab provides access to modern computing resources, aiding programming and software development. Geography and Geology labs support cartographic, environmental, and earth science studies through practical tools and models. The Statistics and Mathematics departments offer software-based tools for data analysis and problem-solving.
Food and Nutrition has a functional lab for dietary analysis and food experiments, while Economics incorporates statistical software for data interpretation. These labs not only support curriculum-based learning but also encourage independent research and innovation. The infrastructure ensures our students are well-prepared for academic excellence and future professional challenges.
